Come along on a video tour of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas to see which restaurants and bars are open and which are still closed.
The Cosmo, built on what was the Jockey Club parking lot, has 2,800 rooms, 242 suites and is the second Las Vegas hotel to have an underground parking garage underneath the hotel.
In 2015 the luxury resort was included in Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List of Top Hotels in the World.
But the hotel’s beginnings were a tangled mess which included a foreclosure and a trademark infringement lawsuit.
The video is a bit shaky as I was filming on the down-low.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the best card for beginning travel hackers. It is the first card you should get to start traveling for free because the welcome offer is 60,000 points (after spending $4,000 in the first three months).
My favorite perks about this card are earning 2X points on travel and dining, no foreign transaction fees, and transferring points to 13 airline and hotel partners like Hyatt, United, and Southwest.
