    Mahabaleshwar is a charming hill station nestled in the Sahyadri Mountain Ranges of Maharashtra.     Lingmala Waterfalls

    Situated at an altitude of 1278 m, Lingmala Waterfalls is one of the gorgeous waterfalls in Mahabaleshwar, and among the best waterfalls in Maharashtra. Formed over the Venna River, there are two waterfalls, one small waterfall, and the main waterfall which falls from a height of 500 feet. These waterfalls offer a charming picturesque image of cascading waters. The mini waterfall is safe & suitable for swimming and playing in the water. One has to do 30 minutes trek to reach the viewpoint of the main waterfall from the small falls. There is no way to get into the water at the main falls but visitors can get magnificent views of waterfalls from the viewpoint. This is one of the famous places to visit near Pune.

    Dhobi Waterfall

    Facing the famous Elphinstone Point, Dhobi Waterfalls is another Mahabaleshwar’s jewels tucked between the lush green trails of Western Ghats. Surrounded by rocks on all the sides, the water drops down into a deep valley and further merges with the Koyna River. One can just relax near the cascade and admire the lush green vegetation present on the rocks.     Chinaman’s Waterfall

    Chinaman’s Waterfall is a captivating waterfall located towards the south of the Koyna valley in Mahabaleshwar. It is one of the best waterfalls near Mumbai, and among prime places to visit on a Mahabaleshwar Trip. In the past, the gardens close to the falls were looked after by the Chinese. Thus the waterfall got its name as Chinaman’s Waterfall. Cascades down from a height of 500 feet into a deep valley, the waterfall flows from two different points and merges into a single stream. Positioned at the top of the Venna Valley, the calm surroundings and the exotic Chinaman’s waterfall render a perfect holiday spot.

    Vajrai Waterfall

    Yet another jewel in Mahabaleshwar, Vajrai Falls is a picturesque waterfall located near Kas Valley near Satara in Maharashtra. One of the most spectacular waterfalls near Pune, Vajrai Falls is a three-tier waterfall cascading down from a height of around 853 feet (260 m). This is a perennial waterfall but is very spectacular during monsoons. Urmodi River is believed to start from the Vajrai Waterfalls. It is one of the best Satara tourist places to visit by nature lovers and adventure seekers during the monsoons. There are many small caves near Vajrai Falls which can be visited along with the falls.

    Bhilar Waterfall

    A relatively less explored tourist spot, Bhilar Waterfall is a hidden seasonal waterfall located on Panchgani – Mahabaleshwar Road. The waterfall originates from the Kundalika River and gushes down from the height of almost 350 meters. It is one of the best places to experience Maharashtra Tourism, and among the must-include places in Panchgani tour packages. The quiet atmosphere with fewer visitors around only increases the charm of the place.
