The place got its name because of Rajmachi Fort that is situated opposite this point.     Tiger’s Leap / Tiger’s Point

    Tiger’s Leap or Tiger’s Point is another spectacular vantage point in Lonavala. Also known as Waghdari, it is a clifftop with a sheer drop of over 650 m, offering a wide view of the hills and the Western Ghats. Situated at Kurvande on the route towards Aamby Valley from Lonavala, the place got its name due to the resemblance of its shape with a tiger leaping off a valley. The lush greenery, eye-catching views of the valley, misty mornings, and cool breeze make it one of the most picturesque places to visit in Lonavala, among the must-include places in Maharashtra tour packages.     Duke’s Nose Point

    Duke’s Nose is one of the popular vantage points located near INS Shivaji in Lonavala. The place is named after the Duke of Wellington, owing to its resemblance to the nose of Duke in a reclining position. It is also known as Nagphani as the cliff is pointed like a snake’s hood.
